Sauer 202 & Heym Sr20 as the basis for a custom rifle?

I’ve an old Heym SR20 in .243 and. 202 in .308. Both lovely rifles however I don’t use them for stalking these days. The 2nd hand values are very low so I was thinking about using the actions as the basis for a custom build. Just wondered if anyone had done this?

don’t know the 202 but the sr20 is a modern Mauser based action and smooth as you like. But why customise it? Pretty decent to start with, but if you want some fun why not

Check after market stocks as there may not be the fancy type of one you imagine easily available

Only action worth building on is a Mauser 98, or very similar. But I’m next level biased
