Savage arms.22

Hi everyone,
I've got a Savage Arms mk2 .22lr, I like it however the stock is terrible and has poor "cheek weld". So when trying to get my cheek on the stock its to low in comparison to the scope.
I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem and had done anything to correct it? At present I have a foam cheek riser but it looks terrible and I'd prefer a more permanent solution.
Any advise would be great and thanks in advance

Piece of tube insulation under vapour barrier tape works for me. Beavers don't care about beauty, this rifle get sometimes covered in mud.1744739481822.jpeg

Uncomfortable. Are you ill or handicapped?
Are you still getting the rabbits?
No I'm not ill or handicapped and yes I'm getting the rabbits and yes I do have a solution to my problem. My query was that if anyone had a similar problem with the same rifle and had found a better solution than my own

Brilliant, I refer you to my opening words, don't worry about it 🙏.

I've shot dozens of rifles with low stocks and scoped. I never even think about it.
