What happens when someone contacts you first and then a mate comes on and wants whatever you’re selling?Whoever contacts you first
Can’t believe that needs explaining really
If you're an honourable person you'd sell to the one that contacted you first, not put him aside in favour of a mate. What happens when someone contacts you first and then a mate comes on and wants whatever you’re selling?
KB.
As I’ve saidWhat happens when someone contacts you first and then a mate comes on and wants whatever you’re selling?

That is why the yes please gets it.What happens when buyer(s) see the "PM sent" and no other follow up on the thread itself leaving other potential buyers in limbo? Oh I know, lots of posts along the lines of "is this still for sale" "has this sold" and so on. I'm not a fan of too many rules but if the item is what you want and you are happy with the price then why not just say so on the thread?
As it should be? But some seem to be endorsing selling/buying by PM. I have no axe to grind either way but I do get the merits of committing on the thread though. That is why the yes please gets it.
I agree, firat to commit to buy and agrees a price, not the first that soley agrees to purchase then dissapears only to reappear disgruntled.Easy peasy.
As has been said, the first person who commits (with a yes please or similar rather than a PM sent, PM sent is not a commitment), whether that be in the thread or via PM.
Because it can cause discontent as can items being advertised elsewhere with no mention of this in the sales thread. Over on AGF you can get a ban for this type of behavior ranging from two weeks to sine die. I'm not usually a buyer nor a seller but believe me, it agitates a lot of folks. Why is this even being discussed?
I`ve been banned for less lol.Over on AGF you can get a ban for this type of behavior ranging from two weeks to sine die.
Don't you mean: "How many overs will it take to determine a victory, or otherwise, for the Op?"Why is this even being discussed?
