How can I send a picture of something I've posted as proof on a pm

I think you can only insert a link to an uploaded image there, not insert an image directly from your device. Pms are different from ordinary posts, I believe.

Yes, sorry, I should have pointed out that the image needs to be hosted and linked to.

You can use a hoist site like imgur and copy ctrl v
sending you a PM
same picture

Ask the recipient for an email address or WhatsApp number and do it that way
