Shooting glasses

In a recent post, I asked for advice regarding macular degeneration, a problem which I have. I received some helpful advice. Not wanting to give up shooting and finding it difficult to change over to my left eye, I explored what else could be done, .I was given a pair of yellow tinted sport glasses by a cycling friend, and they seemed to help. Why did I not think of this earlier ? It may be early days, but I am hoping that my shooting days may not be over. I now need to find which brand and lens colour are best, I believe yellow, I am not looking for the cheapest, but the best, what price my shooting, if I can spend over a £1000 On a rifle or scope, the price of top quality shooting glasses is not a problem. Advice please,
courser.

I use Costa Del Mars.
Got them mainly for fishing (have polarised lenses), but find them excellent for shooting too (prescription lenses).
Amber lenses.

Thanks Klenchblaize, I am off to the opticians for a prescription Tomorrow, I will order the yellow tint, but unsure about the other colour.
What great site SD is!!

Make sure you insist on the Zeiss tinted lenses as above. Not cheep but better than most. Their frames are good too as they are large/wide for unrestricted viewing, stay on when stumbling through undergrowth and have nose bridge adjustment.

I use the clear Zeiss ones & am very happy with them for shooting, skiing, motorcycling, lawn cutting & diy etc.

have you looked at Pilla?
not cheep but also a vast selection of tints if you go to the right ground they should have a selection to try and interchange.
