SIERRA PRO HUNTER

I really like the pro hunters in both my .25-06 and .300wm. Very accurate and do a number on game

The major embuggerance is that Sierra have stopped making both the .25 117gn and the .30 180gn pro hunters, so I’m currently using up the supply I have, trying to track down any remaining caches I can find, and eventually will have to swap to the SGK I suspect.

Or start completely anew with emerge ELDX or something

Always used pro hunters in 243 (85gr), 30 (150gr) and 6.5 (140gr) and never had an issue with roe, red or anything else that gets in front of them…I’m not shooting long range though - max just under 300m on live things.

You are correct….although I have both the 120’s and 140’s….I actually went 120 to get something between my 85’s and 150’s but realised that the 140 GK’s shot better through my rifle…
