Long shot maybe but in response to a request from an acquaintance on another forum.

Can anyone ID the smock being worn by the gent standing on the right in this pic:

Also thought noddy suit but if you blow the picture up there are pockets at the bottom that go all the way across in a hand warmer pocket style.

I use the above Montane smock and without doubt, it is the best item of warm clothing I've bought in a long time.
Similar to the Buffalo smocks but comes with a great hood as standard, slightly shorter and easier to remove with the full side sips. The lower sleeves have cordura type reinforcing up to past the elbows which is another bonus compared to the buffalo.
Had mine 8 months and bought my misses the female model which she finds excellent too.

With regards to the smock in the thread, looks similar to the Thomas Crown type hoodies:

To many pockets to be an NBC smock, new patern smock has two chest pockets old patern has one big chest pocket plus patches or indicator paper on the lower arm, More likely to be a river west smock or something very simular.

1st thought old style noddy suit top as well, but not sure now. However, if we 'simply' give him a squirt of Sarin/VX we'll have the answer in a few minutes.... got to be worth it to find out?

Photo looks like a still from Countryfile programe a few nights ago about rounding up wild ponies by quad bike.

I agree it is from country file and it looked to
That it had zips either side of chest panel. It's not deer hunter, game stalker I got one. Thought it might be a Nomad but checked the web n discounted them. It looked a tweed material when I watched programme. It looked a good bit of kit. E mail the beeb or that farmer from Cotswolds he has his own website.
