Mine snapped about a week ago ,peed off didn't cover it .
Many years ago had an Allan 1 snap whilst in Sussex at Malcs .
It's replacement,s now in the bin .
Brand names don't count ,I guess where it's made decided what monkey metal is used

I’ve had an uncle mikes break on me while stalking .. changed all of them … just as well I did , upon inspection I could see a few deteriorating!

Those snap in studs on the side of the stock are the way to go (Quick lok?). I’m very hard on my gear and never had a problem
