Start tomorrow on the buck's.

Tomorrow morning I start on my Roe buck cull in West Sussex.
The Bluebells this time are past their best around the bothy. But the Rhodededron and Azaleas are in full bloom.
A grey overcast afternoon with drizzle this afternoon will hopefully give wsy to a sunny day tomorrow.
The place I stay and have my larder is in The garden of the owners.
Surrounded by beautiful gardens and the anticipation of the up coming Roe tomorrow, still makes this one of the best jobs.

I'm.out this weekend , not on your scale , but at least I can have a kip in the day between stalks

Enjoy! It’s my favourite time of the year to be out…seems like everything is busy about it’s business. I stopped mid stalk with someone the other day to say - look at the blossom on this enormous cherry tree…stunning!

4 really nice bucks seen.
Client missed one deer. Second ones small 6 pointer taken no problem. Breakfast finished. Back in bed for a couple if hours

We all started somewhere. The excitement is what brings people out stalking and paying for the privilege. What winds me up is when people complain about the charges of shot fees when pros have done all the work to get then on to a deer only for them to miss or when I read on here of beginners shooting their first deer at well over 100m. Beginners will miss sometimes. Rather that than clipping one.

Well since Thursday morning up to this morning we have had 4 clients out and they have all taken a buck.
Two.of them taking their first roe buck ever..
100% success up to now
And Toby by BMH is also enjoying himself
