Hi, just signed up so I could comment on a post which was really helpful. I’m a shooter based in East Sussex where we have a big deer population which needs to be controlled. I have two rifles, a Sako .243 and a Howa .204. The Sako stock got progressively sticky over the last 10 years and despite trying to remove it nothing seemed to work until today. I read a post on this site which recommended cellulose thinners - it works! I now have a nice smooth stock which I can start to enjoy using again.
