Anyone use this for practical shotgun or otherwise and have any mods they'd recommend?

Yes, Even with the enlarged loader I still had it made bigger which helped with quad loading.
Replace the factory tube for another which allowed for +2 and allows you to break it down smaller for transport.

Love mine. Believe mine is mostly factory standard, with the exception of a Toni systems barrel clamp.

Am tempted to open up the loading port further as well and would be interested to know what other tube @NMQXCMMFWVW used. Agreed - the factory 10+1 is annoying for a quadloader...

I have the MCCG Shotgun Mag Extension Tubes in aluminium but if I had the chance I would swap to carbon fiber in a heartbeat.

I used a power file with progressively finer grit on mine (rem 870), take your time as you can't put material back on once its removed
