That's good to hear.
Someone I know runs a one rifle, two barrels, one scope (a very good one, S&B, (with a lot of adjustment range) setup. In .223 and .308, mainly for target shooting. We are officially restricted to 1000 m/s muzzle velocity on the ranges that we use. R93 LRS-2.
He swaps the 'scope between the two barrels and bolt heads, using the claw mount and makes a correction from his range book, via the turrets, for elevation and windage, and it's always spot on. No, the mount onto the two barrels doesn't match up exactly the same, but is consistent. As is the way the barrels swap.
I have used it, starting at 300m with .223 then out to 600m, then put on the .308 barrel for the afternoon session to 900m and it performed at least as well as others with more dedicated rifles.
