An update on the blind spaniel:
Several goggle lenses have been lost throughout the year so we have moved to coloured ones. He now looks even cooler with shiny red & blue lenses. Not much apparent change in his sight but when out walking or beating people struggle to tell that he is blind or not. Occasionally he will look a bit glassy eyed as his pupils are fully dilated (we were told due to his brain thinking it was just really dark). We think his sight varies between days as sometimes he can be more zoned out and other days he appears to be more switched on (although this may just be cocker spaniel behaviour)! He still has all of his character and is a great little dog on the beating line!
