Swaro Z6i Lens Cap Stuck

Hi All
Have bought a secondhand Swaro Z6i. It’s come fitted with a genuine Swaro front objective lens cover. I want to remove the lens cover but it won’t budge and I can’t turn the knurled ring that’s screwed into the front of the scope. Any ideas how to get it off?

You might want to put an elastic band (small brown ones the Postpersons use) around the bit where you can get a grip with fingers and try that...............that how I got a Zeiss front ring off to put on the sunshade.
