We’ve some working (and yes she does work) cocker pups due shortly and am struggling to find a vet in east Cornwall/west Devon that will do the job for us.

does anyone know of one?
Cheers

I recently had a 2 1/2 hour round trip to get my litter done.
It's funny how the same vets that won't dock tails will happily amputate broken tails! £££

Yes could not agree more with that statement, I work spaniels sometimes 4 days a week during the season and have seen the consequences of undocked tails in spaniels when working thick cover for just one day! At the moment I still have a vet at my practice who comes back to do a litter when I breed and I must make every effort to make sure they go to working homes.
To be honest the only breeds that need docking are spaniels, your never really see boxers or GWP's thrashing around in brambles to the extent that they would damage their tails.
