Just thought i would let others on SD who use Airguns and may need them repaired or serviced at some point, of the absolutly brilliant service i received from Simon the Airgun Doctor in Staffordshire last week. http://www.airgundoctor.co.uk/
I had an RWS Scimitar that was leaking badly and needed to be sorted and returned quickly as my place of work is due to close at the end of the month. After a quick phone call to Simon explaining the situation, he said pop a note inside the box reminding him of the conversation and he would see what he could do.
The parcel left at 2pm by TNT 24 hour on Tuesday and i received a call on Wednesday at 11.30 am to say it was ready! Just needed to give him my card details and it would be sent back by Parcel Force 24 hour. It turned up at 11.30am on Thursday 45&1/2 hours after it left!!!!
The Scimitar had a full strip down and all the seals and gauge replaced as it had been left idle and empty for some time. Total cost from the Airgun Doctor including return postage & vat just over £78. Good service like this needs to be shouted about as it seems all to often we bitch about poor service but forget the times we get realy good service!
Thanks again Simon for your brilliant service and i wholehartedly recomend him to anyone with a sick Airgun in need of help.
