the rut?

Hi all I and a couple of fellow directory members are off to South West Ayrshire for a weekend stalking.
Could any body from that area let us know if the rut is still on in this area and whether it has been good or slow this year.

Not from that area , though I would doubt very much if its still on usually all over by mid August, in my area it was all over by the 10th.

i saw rutting activity only yesterday in Dumfries and Galloway. Buck in hot pursuit of a doe, reacted to the call and then his day was over.
