For Sale: Theoben Rapid 7 Mk1 FAC

I was going to offer this to JayJay27 in the Wanteds post below but see he has already obtained a rifle.

I have a Mk1 which is available as I simply don't have a use for it anymore.

It is in excellent condition, regulated, recently fitted with a Best Fittings quickfill and carbon bottle, Tasco 3 - 12 x 50 scope, Evolution + Vortex mod and two mags. Also available is 300 litre Air tank, still in test.
It will also come with the original 400cc air bottle, fitted with new valve assembly by Best Fittings. I would accept £550.

Oops my bad - yes 300 bar and I think 12 litre capacity ie stands approx some 50 cms tall and 14 cms diameter.

Because once they are fac.you cant have them put too 12 ft pounds..they have too stay fac

because there is far less demand for fac rated airguns. Indeed you can usually make a decent turn on them if you can reduce the power and get them off ticket .
fac air is a niche at up to 20ftlb they are not powerful enough to bother with and not a great deal more useful than 12 ftlb and at higher levels they dont really compete with a rf . pcp air rifles i personally find a pita regards long term reliability

That's not true though. The law does not allow you to make a weapon less lethal. Once it's a section 1, it is always a section 1, even if you reduce the power.

That was the thought " you cant put it back" truth is many have ! Your area might not allow it but others certainly do , if it was the case there would be no deactivated , you could not turn a sub 12 ft lb into something more powerful either and folks are still doing that legally .
