Thermal zeroing values.

Hi. Please could someone (Ian Blackwood, Bruce etc) explain why when zeroing a Hikmicro SQ35, and previously a Pulsar thermal scope, the adjustments, X and Y, seem to by twice the value that is stated in the instructions. The Stellar SQ35 instructions suggest that each value is 1.3cm but when I change the value (X or Y) seems about twice that.

While zeroing when your going to adjust the x/y coorordinates increase your magnification up, that makes the increments smaller
