Heads up, the Parlament here in Germany have decided last week to allow their ownership and mounting on rifles. It was only front or rear add ons that were tolerated so they have now accepted the inevitable march of progress, perhaps that's why Zeiss are throwing in the towel. This is for those on SD who do boar at night when visiting over here

They have announced they are leaving the bino/scope market.
Translation = At the end of 2026, Carl ZEISS Sports Optics GmbH will cease production in Wetzlar. The company, which is part of Carl Zeiss AG, announced this in a press release. Seventy employees will be affected by this step. In the coming months, discussions will be held with employee representatives to determine how the affected employees can be actively supported and how the job cuts can be implemented in a socially acceptable manner, according to the ZEISS statement. Although production will be discontinued, other functions such as customer service, logistics, and quality assurance will continue to operate at the Wetzlar site.

Maybe now we'll see the decline of thermal front add-ons once "zee chermans" have figured out they can legally use a proper thermal scope :D

Its a shame that Bruce is no longer with us to see my comment.
I am not to sure about his statement if the new Nocpix Mate Ultra models are as good as they sound. I have been well impressed with the HIK Thunder TQ50C 3.0 on the front of my Z8i 2-16x50

But does that mean they are exiting the market or just stopping production in Germany and moving it to China or somewhere similar
