Super varmint,I think I would like one.

Seen 1 in the flesh and it is a very nice rifle.

I'd have 1 if I already didn't have a couple of other T3x's

Wow that’s a tough question. Probably .308 though. Cheap and easy to reload, plentiful factory ammo, tame recoil, can shoot 600 yard targets with ease. Doesn’t mash up a muntjac but drops a red stag on the spot if I do my part. Great round for boar.

I hope the day never comes I have to choose just two rifles. I’ve just had a variation for 300 win mag through and already eyeing up a 6mm Dasher. Like a kid in a candy shop

I had two Super Varmints on order, but they changed to the new style before they were available. I got a moderator for the 7mm to give Steve Beaty a bit of turnover during the lockdown, but it was threaded for the old style SV, so I got a .284 with a suitable thread instead of a 7mm-08 from an SD member, and another in .308 from Swillingtons.
I swapped to Boyds stocks.

I'm starting to think one of them would look very nice filling up the 270 slot on my certificate
I don't currently have a slot, I don't currently need another rifle, there's nowt wrong with the ones I've got but crikey, talk about gear acquisition syndrome!!! You know that action bears a strong visual likeness to the Tikka M590 action.

There's one in my local shop for sale and I'm always eyeballing it when I go in. Very nice looking rifle until I saw the price 😂

If you didn’t fancy lugging the weight of the super varmint but wanted same adjustability you could try and source a super light adjustable. I found a lite adjustable stock so put my action into it.IMG_8313.webp
