Tikka trigger spring

Anybody’ changed the trigger spring on their tikka to make the pull lighter , did it make a big difference ?

Yes I change the trigger spring in my tikka super varmint. Personally it became far too light for me! So I’ve gone back to the original spring with the screw wound out to the stop, which I feel far more comfortable with. The spring I used was a uk gunworks one.

Yes, recently bought one from eBay from Australia. Made a huge difference to the pull. Much lighter, and a huge improvement for me in terms of accuracy. But it depends on your style of shooting and what you’re used to.

How light do you want it? I think my trigger is about 2.2lb after it was adjusted.

the screw wound out to the stop.......... it is a very deep allan screw so i ground the head down to get more adjustement.
