Torch for foxing

Ended up buying the fenix ht18r and hopefully it's as reliable and trouble free as the rest of the fenix torches I have 🤞.
Thanks for all the advice and suggestions 👍

Just out of interest though the people using the LEP flashlights is it hard to find the fox in such a small beam and stay on him if he moves I'm still interested in buying one just for the curiosity more than anything to be honest

Use a second ("spotter") hand-held torch. It's less than ideal to be waving a rifle about, be it loaded or not.

The LEP I have has a beam focusing head. Tight or wide FOV.

I use the thermal for spotting and then flicks the light on I have the night vision scope too but am always drawn back to the lamp can't beat a lamp and good glass in my opinion anyway.

I've been looking at reviews of the lep and they seem to have a black hole in the light when flooded but I spose you wouldn't be using it for lamping on full flood anyway

Point taken on spotting. As for a ⚫️ no fox has disappeared into one so far.

😂😂 fair enough. I thought they'd be sucked in never to be seen again.
Definitely will try an lep at some stage in the future until then cant wait for the postmn to arrive with the ht18
Thanks for your info👍
