Trading and NOT paying

Gentlemen,
Can I please draw your attention to the Trade membership and the relevant rules applying to it on the site. We have had a few people of late posting items for sale over a long period or offering their services to make a product who have not taken out trade membership. Whilst the classified part of the site is free to members selling on an occassional basis, it appears we do get the odd person who thinks they can use it to make a living or part time living out of selling various items or goods they make, without paying the £10 per month as a trade member.
It is NOT a kings ransome that we ask for. It is cheap advertising and it is not fair on the vast majority of trade members who pay their way. It has come to our attention that we have one or two members offering services via PM and not paying for trade membership. For those that are doing so please take out trade membership. How to do this is clearly defined in the classified section.

It costs Admin time and money to run and maintain the site, its not FREE.

I have to say, as a trade member, that if anyone can find direct access to 25,000 tightly-targeted potential customers anywhere else for a tenner a month, then they're a lot smarter than I am.

Very true Carl. Its unfortunate that we do have the odd member who thinks its fine to trade without paying. Its not as if we have not asked or warned enough times. So dont be surprised if they suddenly disappear 25,000 plus members and that's not counting all those that visit the site to read posts, but do not join.

I absolutely and whole heartedly agree . To try to deliberately avoid £10 per month whilst benefiting off the hard work of others is an absolutely disgusting form of dishonesty that , In my opinion, borders on theft. If I were you, I’d simply ban such members permanently.
