Yay or nay? Really want to start using air gun more & get kids in garden with it. I've got a dive bottle but never find time to get it filled, so think of one of these £200 compressor on amazon? But heard some mixed reviews. Not running super dooper thousands pound puff gun.

Run the same but off AliExpress, fills my 500cc rifle's no problem at all. Just make sure to get a another in-line filter to go with the one that comes with it.

Hahaha bloody hell does read like that doesn't it!!

When i first applied for my FAC, under reason for moderaor I put horses, livestock etc, (obviously meaning not wanting to spook them). Had a phone call about that just double checking!!

Does it plug into mains? How long does it take to fill? How long you been using it?

Yes standard 3-pin had it since March , sold my carbon diver's tank after running this for a while. Takes about 5mins from empty to fill a 500cc to 250bar. best off not to let them run down empty tho. I run 3 filter's on mine bit over kill I would say but better say than sorry.
 
I bought one a while back on the basis Mr Bezos would give me my money back if it was garbage. It's not - works well be it on 240V or 12V. Not the quietest, but for the frequency I use it well worth the investment. Makes it harder to justify the money for a Hills for example. I haven't tried to fill a bottle - just direct connection to gun all that's needed. I bought a longer hose for convenience and an additional filter. Job done.

This is what I did too. I only have a fairly small reservoir on my Daystate Huntsman Regal and it fills it in a few minutes.
 
Got a similar one, added an additional filter, which catches more water so really needed. I fill a 3l bottle as well, but not from empty, otherwise you’ll put it under too much stress. If you don’t shoot the kids, you can get them to do it for you 😉
