Hypothetical Question I Know - But if we were only allowed to own two calibres of gun which would you choose, I realise that everyone is after different quarry in different parts of the country etc but if you had to cover all options so to speak what would you go for, if it was three calibres I think the choice would easy(ish) but two im not so sure.
HMR and 308 ? .22L/R and 243 ? Hornet and ??? Two Wildcat Rounds ?
This topic came up in conversation the other night and I still cant decide.

.22LR and errr.........................um................I'm not 100% sure.

It would depend upon what else other than sall vermin I was going to be shooting.

You are certainly right in thinking that a choice of 3 would be easier though :)

Yes exactly, The topic got quite "exciting" the other night - My Three would be .22 L/R, 223 and 308 But my Two im not sure. I keep finding a case for a lot of them.

.22LR and .270? I suppose .25-06 might be a better bet than .270, but I never used one.

.22lr and .243 its what ive got now used to have more calibers but sold the rifles to buy one decent one, ive never felt under-gunned on the deer and have never felt like im over gunned on the foxes with the .22lr filling the vermin gap
