This case has got to be the future in precision shooting.

First the problems; they don't export! Maybe Ed from Edinburgh could make it happen.
On the plus side: Uniform wall thickness and proprietary assembly techniques deliver consistent velocity with an impressive 0.93 fps standard deviation
Manufactured ammunition produces around 200fps over similar standard .308 factory ammunition.

That's what the Yanks are complaining about.
The development of the new rifle and cartridge has duplicated what was already an improved and proven case system.
The increase in velocity came from a requirement to penetrate Chinese body armour, the 200fps from this system could've probably met that criterea.

We do not ship civilian orders overseas. However, we will consider orders over 500,000 rounds for U.S. allies’ military use. For these military orders, please contact us at info@shellshocktech.com for a quotation.

I'd give them a go if they were imported!

Its still a deep drawn part so I'm not sure how the wall thickness consistency will be any different. More case volume, longer reloading service life and not needing to be resized or prepped before first firing (deburring flash hole etc), or subsequent firings are all positives though!

Also, most fps variation will come from powder charge and neck tension so don't see how that would necessarily drop it down to 0.9fps?

As regards makers claim of an independently verified 0.93fps SD - well that wasn’t borne out in the video, (even with very small sample sizes).

Magnetic makes picking up cases so easy- that's a great improvement.

If larger flash holes are an advantage has anyone tried drilling brass ones?

i did when i was messing around with subsonic 308 , made no difference to me but there was a lot of warnings about not using full power loads with larger flash holes

If ya can't bend over to pick a case up how you gonna drag a deer that you shot at hundreds of yards with a super dooper cartridge?
drive over and winch it into the back of the pick up or take the telehandler ?

obviously if you prefer to struggle thats up to you ?

If you can get in and out of the telehandler. That might be difficult for someone who can't pick up something they dropped.

The point is, what is the point!
Seen it over and over. The newest cartridge, better than the last. It's all very tiring.
Use what ya want, and carry a magnet if someone finds it enhances their experience.
The moment I have to have heavy mechanisation on standby I'll probably retire.
