Two way radios

Hi does any body use two way radios when out stalking in heavy woodland areas if so what make and are these licenced sets

Ex police motorolla....i have the older models...a bit chunky but very durable and reliable

got a pair of kenwood 2 way radios off ebay , there pretty good for a mile or so in wooded area , nice and clear , lent them out at present ,i think there tk360 1800mAH ,if my memory is right .
