Very early chick?

When this landed opposite I thought it was a magpie! An almost fully feathered greyback crow doing the feed me routine with a parent bird. Never seen one this early - ever!

Last year we had a fledged wood pigeon in the garden, in January!
We have fledgling woodpigeon in our garden , in every month of the year now . They breed in the large conifer hedge between my house and the next door neighbour . I used to see the young birds , and think to myself that they wouldn't make it , but most of them do.

Looks like an adult female. A fledgling has a big red gob. Ive seen a few birds with similar colouring, there was a mostly white one living in Shannon town centre a while back.
