video to DVD

Does anyone have the ability to copy videos onto DVD? I have some old VHS stalking videos that I would like copying but don't really want to pay £10 each to have it done. I am hoping that someone will do it and make themselves copies at the same time? Thanks, Glyn

I bought a device that you plug into a pc from the player and then burn to DVD as you would normally
used it once and then left it in a safe place
only cost me £15-20 I think

will see if I can dig it out for you

My laptop doesn't have a DVD drive so I don't think that would work. Also, my video player is ancient so I doubt if the socket and leads are compatible with any modern devices.

it uses standard Video output and once on the PC anyone can burn it for you

Look for A Video grabber. You can get them on ebay for less than a tenner. Just create a file and save your video's which you can burn onto disc when you have one or just watch them on your p.c, even the oldest p.c will have a usb port.
