Can’t open many shooting sites etc

What’s the difference in models?

Can you add 5th leg to any of the models ?

Good stix them,I use the journey ones (I think they are called that) yes you can add a 5th leg to them. Had mine for years now and still going strong. Well built and light.

Great sticks, easy and quick to deploy. Easy to swing round if needed by grabbing 1 leg and lifting. They don't have any limit on how wide the legs will spread, so getting the correct hight for different stalkers/situations is incredibly easy.
Flat front rest which allows lateral movement of rifle. What's not to like (except the price!).
In my opinion, the best out there.

Unless they have changed since I bought mine.

Standard are two section, tubes made of metal. The Journey, is 3 section, and made of carbon fibre, so lighter, and much easier to travel with.

Excellent sticks and solid as a rock, i changed from home made ones to these a few years ago and won’t go back. As like everything they don’t suit everyone, one of my shooting pals swears by his home made ones and has shot plenty of deer off them and hundreds of foxes.

Just remember to see the ROV lads for some heat shrink to stop the whistling through the holes.

Just get them and enjoy your shooting even more.

Need to speak code to the ROV lads though 🤣

I was going to ask what difference was between models ?

Basic model aluminium legs very adjustable

Journey model ( I have a set brilliant) combination of carbon fibre and aluminium. There USP is they break down in to 3 shorter sections that will go in to a standard suitcase

Full carbon model, much lighter, does not break down

The 5th leg will go on any of them

Having tried various different models over the years, including making home-made ones, my standard (Elite+) Viperflex’s are now my ‘go to’ quad sticks.
I have a 5th leg for my Viperflex’s but find it cumbersome and tend not to use it much. (Unless I am sticking to a static position for a prolonged period.)

I have 2 sets of Vipers (don't ask) and 2 sets of Blaser V2 - the Blaser's are way better IMHO! I use a Viper 5th leg on the Blaser sticks so best of both worlds. Some posts if you have the bandwidth:

Spartan Prohunt Tac

Horses for courses, like DTE said. I was talking about Spartan bipod, not the whole ecosystem. Personally I don't see much point in sucker mount (£150) or quad sticks that use Spartan attachment (£300). If the pistol grip in Blaser sticks is rotating and provides panning, that's kind of clever...

Just wondered if you have an adapter for the Blaser sticks? Cheers Gordon

Blaser carbon shooting sticks

You'd think for the not inconsiderable sum being asked for all these 'premium' grade sticks the manufacturers would put a little more in-the-field research into their development. Bits of sticky tape, cut down cycle inner tubes to fix problems that should have been engineered out at the factory...
