Vortex scope question

Well, 2 questions really.

Anyone know who deals with the riflescope warranty issues in UK? I know Newpro deal with the other optics like bino’s and spotters but not scopes.

I’m assuming I have an issue as, zeroed at 100, I have less than 1 revolution of elevation left on the turret.

Alternatively:
It’s on a 0moa rail but I have a 20moa. I’m confused about which way the reticle moves, so do you reckon the 20moa will make it better or make it worser

They are both the same height! Vortex Tactical I believe.

There’s a bit more to tell:
It’s just been rebarelled. Maybe the barrel is pointing up a bit relative to the action?

The odd thing is, prior to the rebarrel, when trying the 20 moa rail on it, I couldn’t get the reticle down (up?) enough to zero at 100m.

Awesome customer service.
I’d fully expect it to be an issue with mounts/rails etc and not the scope, you talk about the rail orientation but are your rings similarly in the correct place? Often they are different front and rear

@matt308 it doesn't sound like the scope is necessarily at fault. A 20 MOA rail will help (sloping downwards toward the muzzle)

Ok. I’ll try the 20moa rail on it and see if I can’t find a decent one piece mount to remove some variables

10moa rail maybe that’s all I have. I might have one kicking around still if your shooting a tikka?

The 20MOA rail will help, I would try it and see how you get on.

Also check that the current rail is seated correctly and that the rings are sitting on the base correctly. Something does sound amiss.

I’m pretty sure I did a decent job of mounting the Britannia rail. It was only a few months ago and I remember noticing it sat perfectly flush on the action with one end screwed down. Unlike the previous one which needed a shim at one end.

I’ll try the 20MOA when I get a moment and can stand the agro of rezeroing.

Also, might raise it with the rifle builder.
