Sold: Vortex Viper HD 5-25x50

Still in the sealed box.
A rival to the LHT range of scopes, great for hunting or the range, with exposed elevation and capped windage turrets.
Illuminated VMR-3 reticle, in sfp, which is mil based with hold over points.
30mm tube and comes with the lifetime Vortex warranty.

These are selling at OPW for £1060 at the moment, so a bargain at £750.

Bought for my FAC PCP, but too much scope for that and need NV for those night time rats.
Thanks

Which gen is this please?
The Viper HD is the new replacement for the previous 'HST' models which were becoming anachronistic given that they featured wire reticles.

I'm not sure how the Viper HD compares to the current Gen. 2 PSTs in terms of glass etc. Historically HST was one rung below PST, but it's hard to tell with Vortex scopes until you actually look through them and make your own mind up. Case in point – the Venom 5-25x is supposed to be one rung below the Strike Eagle 5-25x, but when you actually test them the optical clarity of the Venom is streets ahead of the optics in the Strike Eagle (which is no slouch itself).

I can't imagine anybody will be disappointed with this scope, given the OP's very reasonable asking price.
