Vortex Viper HD Binoculars

Afternoon. I've just bought a pair of 10x42 HD vipers. Out with them for the 1st time last night. Well impressed. Light enough to carry easily. Superb optically. Excellent low light performance. Very impressive for the money. But the Glaspak harness is horrible. I suspect it'll get replaced by an ultra light rig very rapidly.

Great binoculars, very very little difference between these and the big brands. I had a pair for 2 years and only sold them to upgrade to Vortex Fury rangefinders these use the same glass.

Hi Slider,

So if the glass is the same is the main difference that the fury have the rangefinding ?

Cheers

Got diamond back 8x42 . Had them for quite a few years now . Paid £130 for them when rifle craft where selling them they have been out in all weather I have been in high seats with lads with the fancy stuf and even they where impress , one word ( AWSOME )

Got a pair of the diamond back model, great binos, got my father a set and about a year or so later I had a look through them and noticed I couldn't adjust them for both eyes to be clear, sent back to vortex for warranty , no questions asked they sent me a brand new pair of the hd models with bino harness , customer care is second to none, would highly recommend them

Got the older Vulture 8x56. A bit heavier than the new models but great glass & low light performance at a significant saving on the ‘premier’ brands. Nothing need saying re the warranty :thumb:
