Wales to ban dog in countryside?

As someone who had the occasion, once, to see his father shoot two dogs worrying sheep across from our boundary in a neighbour's field, I'd welcome the banning of dogs from the countryside. Whatever the motive. Want to exercise your dog then exercise it on your own property not mine.

Over the years I have shot quite a few dogs chasing sheep , however I would not want them banned- just kept under control in public places and farm
Land.

I have never exercised any animal, Dog / Horse whatever, on anyone else's property, unless you are counting being on a lead / halter / saddle occupied, on a bridle path or even a seaside prom.
This being the case I would think anyone with that outlook would struggle meeting me with my dog / horse whatever, "In the Countryside"
