I shot a roe doe recently , sorry no pictures, and on doing the gralloch she had a thin sticky yellow membrane throughout her internal cavity but no smell. Her udder still had milk as she had two followers who were taken later. Everything else was normal all the nodes, how she was acting before the shot etc. I’ve never encountered this before in 30 years of stalking, there is no OSR however there is clover in the surrounding pastures. There was no fat around the kidneys or in the body cavity, but body condition was good weight wise. I did think it was maybe the start of her laying down fat for the winter but didn’t use the carcass. I’ve read the other threads about the yellow colouration in roe but in the photos they appeared clean in the body cavity. Was this a waste of a roe
