Weihrauch HW44

I am in need of a air pistol for some small vermin management.
Looking for some feedback from those who own or have owned a HW44 pistol. The good and the bad.
Thanks

Not what you asked- but unless you're dispatching from a cage- a rifle is almost always better.

If you are humanely dispatching from point blank range- just about any 5-6ft lbs air pistol will do.

As to your question- I believe the HW44 is one of the best spring air pistols out there. They command strong money for sure. But unless it has to be spring powered- a PCP pistol (if it has to be a pistol)- may be easier to shoot accurately.....

It is a PCP buddy, was it the hw40 that was a springer?

I played with an HW45 a number of years ago. A very nice and accurate pistol. From memory you lift the barrel up and forward and then the spring comes rearward. A bit like old Webleys. Unlike the old Webleys the one I played with would actually really pretty well.
