Weihrauch HW66 production .22lr magazine loading issues.

Hi all, I have a new Weihrauch hw66 production. It’s a lovely rifle but I’m having issues with the magazine jamming and not feeding rounds properly. The issue seems to be that the magazine is ever so slightly too short, if I try to manipulate the shape to give the extra room/length for the bullet to feed correctly, that then pinches the loading tray and causes it to jam. I’m probably going to take it apart and fettle it to see if I can can solve the issue....
However, I was wondering if there are any better after market magazine’s for this rifle? I don’t seem to be able to find any other options? Thanks in advance.

Why mess with it, simply take it back to the retailer its not fit for purpose. If you "fettle" with it you are likely to void all rights.
Don't forget that your contract is with the retailer not the factory or importer.

This seems to be a common issue with these factory magazines so I don’t think replacing it like for like will help the issue...

All the more reason to take the rifle back to the retailer - its his problem.

He won’t be able to fix a poor design problem. The rifle is spot on, just a crappy mag, hence why I asked if there are any better after market magazines...

Surely if you buy something new it should be fit for purpose and if not it should be returned and made to work as it should .
Buying something extra to make it do what it should do defeats buying new with a warranty.
