Weirauch HW66J-M stock removal

After few accuracy issues noticed the forend of my HW66J is pressing tightly under barrel. Planned to sand a bit out to get it free floating but can't get the action away from the stock! Undone both screws either side of trigger which has loosen it but still something holding it, rather than just being tight. There is what appears to be another screw under the grip but I can't see how that would be holding it?

Any ideas?

Cheers

Two screws hold it together one by the trigger guard the other forward of the mag well.
You have removed the blot?
Give the barrel a tap upwards to break the seal. Unless someone has glass bedded it and couldn't get the action back out !

@B&W FOX thank you. Yeah I've removed both of them. I'll try tapping it but I have already given it a fair tug & just feel something still gripping on... Does yours have a sunk screw at base of the grip? The reason I'm having to take it off!

Fully free floating now. It's very tight around the action as is. Hopefully get chance asap to see how it groups now.

Update - floating barrel hasn't helped with accuracy issues....

Shall remove rings and scope and try different scope 🤞

May just be the best it can do.

But tbh, that’s a thumbnail group, for game shooting that’s more than good enough unless you are head shooting sparrows.

What cal is this? Is your scope fubar? How's your cheek weld to the stock. I had similar when I had a big scope on a std stock. I was resting my jaw on the stock not my cheek and I just wasn't consistent, I packed the stock up and had much better results.
