Welsh Game Fair

Any body go yesterday.
@Oakridge, I think.
I was there Wednesday, delivering venison to the restaurant caterers, and Thursday helping with setting stuff up. No-one had any idea of how busy it was likely to get over the three days of the fair. Total unknown. There's been very little promotion of the event locally.
I'll probably be there for a look around today.

Lots of people visiting, fair a little smaller than usual but well constructed with almost no tat & I saw none of the usual unwashed / undesireables. By the way, your venison smelled absolutely fabulous on the old style bar b q.

Only three road signs almost on top of venue, then nothing much except guesswork once off the main drag, SWMBO even checked we were travelling on the correct date. :lol: Gave Harry the Hare thumb stick a run out.

Yes, but nothing West of Bangor.
Not quite right Sir,
There is at least one large advertising banner sited on the Porthmadog by-pass, but as Pendle says speaking to several at the fair yesterday it appears to have been well advertised in the Cheshire area.

We had a pleasant day at the fair yesterday, but I think I would have been very disappointed if I had paid the full on the day gate price. It was a bit light on the actual game fair side of things but at the same time not too heavy on the totally unrelated tat stands though there were represented. Also noted was very few cammo clad warriors, or light-fingered undesirable types who have been mentioned previously.

Met many pleasant people yesterday from all over the country. Perhaps it was because they were just so happy to be able to get out and congregate after such a long gap.

Just returned from the game fair met up the usual villain's VSS and others 😉🤣🤣.
It was good better than I expected. I did not go there for anything special just a day out . Plenty of space to move around
The stepson enjoyed it after I nominated him to get in a corricle 🤣🤣. Hopefully be better next year.

Visited Saturday, very enjoyable day and got the opportunity to fire the .375Holland at my club tunnel(I don't think I'll be winning the knife though)

Bumped into a couple of friends I haven't seen since before the lockdown and it was great to catch up. Nice to hear lots of Welsh spoken there

Glad this show got the go ahead and lets hope it continues and doesn't turn into an artisianal gin and craft fudge fair like the Midland did

Saw the gin stall I buy from 🤣. Went to buy two bottles of what I missed out on at the gamefair.
They could not bring that flavour as they had sold two pallets to somebody in Germany 😥 they will also have none for Weston park 😥 as not enough time to make it . At least I still have my £££ in my pocket
