Wet tumbler recommendations???

I would like to get myself a wet tumbler for cleaning brass cases.

Please recommend me a tumbler that works as it should but is as cheap as chips 😂

Might work 😂
I should have said above that this will be used for black powder cases (577/450), the smell of rotten eggs in the dishwasher might not agree with SWMBO

Well I now have one of these.

Frankford Arsenal tumbler - they are not however, cheap.

You will probably know this.

Once fired, immediately drop your BP cases into warm soapy water (I use an old sports bottle) - it will prolong the life of your brass - which if you are buying, is kicking around the £8 a pop.

I have both M-H and Snider which I shoot - it is an expensive day out and is therefore used sparingly.

3 kg Rotary Tumbler Jewelry Polisher & Finisher Ideal For Rocks Stone Coins UK | eBay

I have one of these and it works extremely well. They come in 3kg & 5kg but I found the 3kg is more than adequate for a couple of hundred cases.
The picture shows them having an external drivebelt that gets a few negative reviews, they have since been updated to a direct drive, or at least mine is.

Word of warning though, the steel shot that comes with it is NOT stainless so throw it in the bin and buy some stainless shot and/or pins off t'interweb instead.

Very pleased with mine and cheap as chips, and it hasn't broken down after a couple of uses.

Thank you, that looks like the sort of thing (at a bargain price!)

+1 for these - I'm using an American import with a transformer but Brownells were recently doing a BF deal on the UK one for what I thought was a very good price! Sadly, its gone back up again........

these guys are well worth a call for all types of media etc.
