The 22LR’s can be fickle beasties as I have been getting good groups with the CCI’s in my T1X, it does seem to shoot most of the ammo types pretty well though...Very impressed with it so far.

As you noted, the T1X can be less fickle than some. I have had spotty performance from CCI. The last LOT was horrible. I would merrily be plunking rounds into a bug hole at 50 yards and suddenly, one would veer off 1/2 or 5/8 of an inch for no good reason. I would have 10-cent piece sized black hole with 3 or 4 random holes orbiting it. To me this means that were I shooting at said 10 cent piece, I could only count on 60 or 70% shot placement. This does two things: It defines the quality of the ammo and dictates the use. I would rather it all went into a 1" circular group than have 6 or seven of ten dog-pile into one hole and the others go where they may. I can then say, ammo "X" is a good consistent ammo I can use on a 1" target at 50 yards and know that misses will be on me.
Because of the finicky nature of 22's in their likes and dislikes, I won't say "This is ammo is accurate. This is not." (although some ammo here is total crap) Instead, I give the ammo a numerical grade based on consistency. The CCI in my and my friend's Tikka rates about 75%. The Federal Ultra Match (R-50) scores about 99%.
I "grade" all the 22LR ammo I shoot for consistency, not "accuracy". This means that in any rifle I fire a particular ammunition through, it will give expected results X% of the time. Yeah. Odd practice, but own a couple dozen 22LR rifles. I need to know what to expect. If I'm going rabbit hunting with my T1X sporter version I can use about any ammo I have in stock. If MTLEADFARMER and I are shooting push pins off the 100 yard target backer I'll need to refine my choice....~Muir

I would say this happens and your percentage is correct if you look at the bottom left target here...6 touching and then 4 shots 3/8” away but in reality for what I shoot and the ranges all would be a dead bunny. You can also see the Winchester’s in the top right and this is what the consistent grouping was so they just didnt seem as consistant as the CCI’s.
I’m not sure I can get the federal ultra match rounds here but will certainly try.

Federal Ultra Match, at least the version I shoot, is rebranded R-50 made by RWS. Federal doesn't sell this version anymore. I am lucky in that the ranch store has a lot of it. As I mentioned, the SK Biathlon and even the "22LR Semi-Auto" shoot very well. I think I mentioned that at my distributor's website, under comments for the SK Biathlon listing, the T1X showed up often. One person posted a pic of a sheet with 50, quarter inch dots at which he fired a single round at each dot at 50 yards. I think he cut the dots 44 /50 times. I have used this method to evaluate 22. Good if you can hold your concentration and can spare a full box of shells. It keeps you from fixating on shooting a 'group'.

I've had an Anschutz 1710 for years and it really is a very nice rifle, a shooting mate of mine had a CZ that out to 75 yards was just as accurate as the Annie. beyond that, I had the edge. If I was starting out again I would go for the CZ as today the top end Anshutz is very expensive.

Is the 457 trigger interchangeable with the 455, just wondering. I've the 455 but no trigger issues at all with it but then I'm a fine shot

I'm not 100% sure but I don't think the trigger improvement aftermarket sear that works in the 455 will work in the 457 . I do however know the sear I bought for my CZ 452 FS will also work in the CZ 455 HB I just purchased . I had a Tippeman Arms AR-22 and sold it then took the funds and bought a lightly used CZ 455 HB 22 LR . I can't decide whether to thread the barrel on the 455 or purchase a second already threaded barrel for the 455 . An HB of course .Is the 457 trigger interchangeable with the 455, just wondering. i’m using .22 CCI segmented and the accuracy is pretty good - haven’t had any wandering at all, 3/4 inch group at 70 yds for rabbits it’s spot on
As a comparison I recently purchased a .17 mach 2 in sako pro model in standard barrel, surprisingly it out shoots the 22 with ease with CCI BT at the same ranges it’s a cracking bunny basher, ammunition groups easily at less than 1/2 inch all day

I rather predictably would say seek out a Mauser 201...(yes I have one) little rifles built like big rifles used to be...awesome built quality
If I were picking new I’d be tempted by the Sako Quad or the Cz
