Which blaser?

The Success stock doesn't fit me at all. It's too long. Even though it has the same LOP as the standard Professional stock it feels much longer. It would need to be at least 1 - 2 cm shorter.

Last year we all went to the gunshop and played the 'your rifle has been broken, you have 5 minutes to choose a replacement for that trophy bull that stops 200m away a metre from cover' I chose the R8 because of the trigger.

There are things about them I dont like but as a trigger is for me the single most important thing I'll forgive those even if I wont buy one

I have a pro success and I personally prefer a standard non thumbhole stock for stalking. I find after the first shot a little fiddly and it takes longer to reposition my hand before I take another shot.

On the range or on a bench its great.​

However, if I had a doe and two kids in front of me the standard stock wins every time. I also find it long and heavy.

I've just applied for a 270 and will be buying a standard R8 stock with adjustable comb raiser and probably sell the pro success
