Beautiful stocks - get the feeling that thy might be wasted on me as my rifles often get covered in crap what with the ground around here being heavy clay.
Would be a shame to smear such craftsmanship in mud!

Exactly what would happen to mine, but that’s sort of the point to have it, use it and enjoy it.

The patina of age and mud will tell stories in years to come
