Which Shotgun?

Had a silver pigeon 12 bore for over ten years, it was great.
Got a browning 725 20 bore now, it’s great too.
Also got a very cheap aya yeoman with quarter and half chokes specifically for standard steel shot which performed great last season.
Choose something you like the feel of and that fits. In the side by side world there are bargains to be had!

I shoot SxS’s almost exclusively , as a matter of fact I don’t own an O/U anylonger . But not because I don’t like O/U’s just down sizing . My newest gun is a circa 1980ish Benelli Montefeltro 12 with a 24” barrel . But most everything I shoot was made between 1880 and 1940 all Parker’s and one W&C Scott . If I were in the market for a new 12 gauge and wasn’t trying to be thrifty I’d get a nice NEW Krieghoff K-80 . If I’m trying to be thrifty I’d go with a Browning Citori 725 . If you want it for feathered birds I’d get 28 or 30 inch barrels of you want it for clay targets exclusively I’d get 32” barrels .
