Williams fridge fault

Hi All
and I own a Williams stainless fridge with a fault . We I turn off the unit when not in use and when i need to use the fridge the memory of the setting on the LED display will not reset until I have reprogrammed the unit which is a pain . Any ideas ?

Maybe its got an internal battery to maintain memory (sometimes on the circuit board) that has gone flat. ......personnally i dont know the fridge so just a guess.
