Stripped the whole bolt down and I put some KROIL down the ejector hole and anywhere else i could think left it to soak until about 1 hour ago, then Stuck the bolt in the ultrasonic cleaner an

BOOM out popped a small bit of metal from the base of the ejector recess been there all the time and explains why the spring i took out was softer and shorter than the new one that i cocked up by chopping it to fit,

Now what i need is just a tikka ejector spring, thank the lord,

here you go guys,

this is what was at the bottom of the ejector recess since I have owned the rifle,?

the top picture is the badly chopped new replacement that went coil bound because of the small ball like object found in the base of the recess.

So you finally followed the instructions I gave you......

Bloody ell neil, it was so tight in there it took 3 soaks with KROIL and about 2 x 30 minute runs in the ultrasonic cleaner. And that was after trying the small drill bit by hand
