You wont have one of these I bet.

Always fancied one and a mate had one - I remember him being over the moon when he found a cherished plate that matched the model number. In a similar vein, I always fancied the “tricycle” kit car you built on a 2CV chassis by turning the rear wishbones inwards so you effectively had a “double” rear wheel - poor man’s version of a nostalgic MG IIRC. Hey ho - that boat’s long sailed :coat:

My pal long gone Terry Nolan had one and was proud to have deflowered some maidens in it.
The story he gave me was that after the war the factory still had a load of fold out ME109 canopies left over and this was the bright idea to use them up. Must be a myth.

As a young boy my best mate’s big brother had one. He had it for a few years before rolling it on a mid Cheshire country road. Decided to get rid of it and by a then very new mini.
I did manage 2 trips in it, much different to my Dads old Morris Van (if we sat on the wheel arches in the Bach it badly affected the handling, it would roll badly in corners and not stay in a straight line. Dad made us sit on the floor.

Interesting story.....I was always told the shape was based on the Ju87 Stuka canopy, all the producer did was a "bit" of re-tooling for the bodywork after the war.
