If they wish to let them younger the better IMHO
Iam so glad the only nanny's around when I was a kid were our mums mum ! The loss of kids being kids and allowing them to explore has degraded fast since the 60's
Its about time the woke fecked off back under there rocks and let parents make life choices again?

Both my daughters started shooting with a rifle club aged 11 and competed for several years. Both became safe competent shots and often outshot adults in competition.
