Selling my .243 Zastava which is a K98 (small ring) action, would be great for a beginner or someone after something not too precious/foxing truck gun with it's shorter barrel
Best factory ammo I have found for it is Hornady Superformance 75gr, though it did shoot Federal Powershok 100gr and Sako Gameheads 75, 90 and 100gr well

Metalwork is 9/10 with the barrel having a minor bushing mark on it from the moderator, but the moderator no longer comes into contact with this area.
Stock is 7/10 with a few dings and scrapes. Most were done before I bought it and I did my best to steam out the ones that could be remedied.

Currently has a Burris FourX scope mounted with quick-detach Sports Match rings and (I think) Recknagel bases
Moderator is a Wildcat Predator 1/2 inch UNEF
Bore has not been scoped but looking with the naked eye the rifling is clear, defined and nothing visibly wrong with the barrel and it shoots very well
Barrel was screw cut by a competent smith on this forum and I have had no problems with it - it was also shortened by a few inches (to 19.5) to make it a bit more pointable.
Always stored with moderator off
Reproofed by Birmingham Proof House (See stamp by new thread)

I'm happy to keep hold of the scope and rings for my next rifle.

Price as a package: £625 SCOPE SOLD
Price without Scope/rings: £275

Advertised elsewhere, can RFD at buyers cost, travel a reasonable distance or collection from Warwickshire. More pics can be taken on request

The scope: Burris Four X (30mm) 3-12x56 IR Rifle Scope

I had a Zastava in 30.06 and it also
had a double set trigger. Was very accurate using this.Nice Walnut too but had to shorten it as it was too long in the stock.
